About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the General Manager in leading and supervising store personnel
- Track and manage inventory
- Achieve key performance metrics and ensure efficient daily store operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional customer experience
- Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies that drive service standards and positive sales results
- Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
- Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs and communicate changes to employees
- Coach, train, and develop team members to meet objectives
- Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations while on duty
- Maintain professional relationships with business partners
- Assist the General Manager with labor budget management
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance
- Perform other assigned management tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service
- Prior cash handling experience
- Ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Conversational English proficiency
- Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computers, scanners, and printers
- Ability to comprehend safety procedures and use telecommunication devices
- Ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions
- Valid driver's license and passing MVR background check for delivery locations only
- Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and effectiveness with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying hostility
- Ability to move throughout the facility, including tight spaces
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps
- Visual and auditory acuity with or without aids
- Availability for 40–45 hours weekly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
