About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel
- Track and manage inventory and ensure accurate inventory reporting
- Achieve key performance metrics and support efficient daily store operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance with state-specific regulations
- Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs and communicate changes to employees
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts with the General Manager/Assistant General Manager
- Perform system adjustments and participate in root-cause analysis
- Help determine, initiate, and execute corrective actions
- Perform key-holding supervisor duties, including opening and closing procedures and basic staff supervision
- Support retail processes and maintain visual merchandising brand standards
- Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
- Maintain professional relationships with business partners
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
- Prior cash handling experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and discretion
- Conversational English proficiency
- Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computer, scanner, and printer
- Ability to comprehend safety procedures and utilize telecommunication devices
- Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members
- Valid driver's license and passing MVR background check required for delivery locations only
- Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to function independently, with flexibility, personal integrity, and effective work with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
- Ability to move throughout the entire facility, including tight spaces
- Ability to push/pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to ascend/descend stools, ladders, and steps and position self or objects at floor level
- Visual and auditory acuity with or without job aids
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
