About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel
- Monitor and maintain store inventory and ensure accurate inventory reporting
- Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations
- Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs and communicate changes to employees
- Conduct inventory audits and required cycle counts with management
- Perform system adjustments and participate in root-cause analysis
- Help determine, initiate, and execute corrective actions
- Perform key-holding supervisor duties, including opening and closing procedures and basic staff supervision
- Maintain retail processes and brand standards in visual merchandising
- Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
- Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service
- Prior cash handling experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Ability to communicate in conversational English
- Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computers, scanners, and printers
- Ability to comprehend safety procedures and use telecommunication devices
- Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members
- Valid driver's license and successful MVR background check required for delivery locations only
- Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to function independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and effectiveness with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying hostility
- Must be able to move throughout the facility, including tight spaces
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps, and position self or objects at floor level
- Must have visual and auditory acuity, with or without job aids
- Availability to work up to 40 hours weekly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
