About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the General Manager in achieving 100% store inventory accuracy
- Oversee preparation and processing of daily product and patient transfers
- Make daily transfer recommendations for product overages and shortages
- Maintain inventory in compliance with state regulations
- Assist with implementation of company inventory-control policies and operating procedures
- Analyze and resolve inventory issues
- Record inventory, compliance, and accuracy throughout all production phases
- Monitor warehouse transactions, including shipping, receiving, and transfers
- Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, or monthly as needed
- Conduct inventory audits with the General Manager
- Follow written audit programs and perform physical inventory checks
- Log receipts and documentation for accurate inventory accounts
- Assist in scheduling inventory and compliance personnel
- Perform system adjustments and participate in root-cause analysis
- Help determine, initiate, and execute corrective actions
- Collect, audit, and file paperwork required for state compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with regulatory compliance and HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff
- Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
- Able to understand and follow written/oral instructions
- Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Proficient with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Well organized with good management and leadership skills
- Communication, problem-solving, and arithmetic skills
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Must pass a comprehensive background record check and drug screening
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and perform required sensory functions, independently and effectively work with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry it at least 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend stool, ladder, or steps, and position self or objects at floor level
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
