About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide manual labor to support Cultivation department operations
Perform day-to-day plant maintenance in the flower department
Support veg, mom, and propagation departments as needed
Follow directions and instructions from supervisors
Perform repetitive agricultural work, including climbing ladders or working on elevated platforms
Net and trellis flower plants
Load plants and place emitters
Tuck and spread plants as directed
Prune and defoliate plants
Use PPE according to company guidelines
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material
Clean, sanitize, and store grow room tools and equipment
Perform manual cross-department duties as needed
Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

Punctual
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, use stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Must have visual acuity for reading, viewing computer terminals, and visual inspection in day and night/dark conditions
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
