About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide manual labor supporting Cultivation department operations
Support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation
Work in veg, mom, and propagation as needed
Perform repetitive agricultural work and follow supervisor instructions
Net and trellis flower plants
Load plants and place emitters
Tuck and spread plants as directed
Prune and defoliate plants
Use PPE according to company guidelines
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material
Clean, sanitize, and store grow-room tools and equipment
Perform cross-department manual duties and other assigned tasks

Requirements

Punctual
Cultivation experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movement
Must have visual acuity for reading, computer terminal viewing, and visual inspection
Must be able to communicate verbally with co-workers and vendors
