About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide manual labor supporting Cultivation department operations while following applicable laws, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
Support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation responsibilities
Provide support in veg, mom, and propagation as determined by business need
Perform physical, repetitive agricultural work and follow supervisor instructions
Net and trellis flower plants
Load plants and place emitters
Tuck and spread plants as directed
Prune and defoliate plants
Use PPE according to company guidelines
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material to clean grow rooms
Clean, sanitize, and store grow-room tools and equipment
Perform manual cross-department duties as needed
Perform secondary essential job functions and other assigned duties

Requirements

Cultivation experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, use elevated platforms, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movement
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and visual inspection
Must be able to communicate verbally with co-workers and vendors
Must be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 in CT, PA, and WV
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
