About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide manual labor supporting Cultivation department operations
  • Primarily support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation
  • Support veg, mom, and propagation departments as determined by business need
  • Follow directions and instructions from supervisors
  • Net and trellis flower plants
  • Load plants and place emitters
  • Tuck and spread plants as directed
  • Prune and defoliate plants
  • Use PPE according to company guidelines
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material to clean grow rooms
  • Clean, sanitize, and store grow room tools and equipment
  • Perform manual cross-department job duties as needed
  • Perform all other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
  • Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders and stairways, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
  • Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movement
  • Must have visual acuity with or without job aids for reading, computer terminal viewing, and visual inspection
  • Must be able to communicate verbally at conversation levels with coworkers and vendors
  • Cultivation experience preferred
