About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide manual labor to support Cultivation department operations
Support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation
Provide support in veg, mom, and propagation as business needs require
Perform repetitive agricultural work and follow supervisor instructions
Net and trellis flower plants
Load plants and place emitters
Tuck and spread plants as directed
Prune and defoliate plants
Use PPE according to company guidelines
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material to clean grow rooms
Clean, sanitize, and store grow room tools and equipment
Perform manual cross-department duties and other assigned tasks

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, use elevated platforms, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movement
Must have visual acuity for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and visual inspection in day and night/dark conditions
Must be able to communicate verbally at conversational levels with co-workers and vendors
