About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the flower processing department with the Department Supervisor
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and take necessary actions for non-compliance
  • Apply quality measures and KPI linkage to site results and vision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • Ability to direct and drive personnel towards maximum performance
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand movements
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions
  • Must have visual acuity for reading, computer-terminal use, and detailed visual inspection in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
