About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform incoming inspections of flower and pre-roll batches, including moisture, texture, quality, and size
- Confirm bud sizes meet brand standards
- Weigh and package flower and/or pre-rolls
- Receive raw batches and ensure appropriate storage
- Verify quality and quantity of raw batch items in kits
- Sort batch items and complete verification paperwork
- Store like batch items together
- Perform counts and complete required documentation
- Seal bags, jars, and tubes and inspect seals for compliance
- Prepare and apply product labels manually or with applicator equipment
- Perform cleaning processes, verification paperwork, and PPE procedures according to cGMP and Trulieve standards
- Clean counters, floors, and work areas
- Monitor product quality and quantity during production and packaging
- Operate and replenish automated packaging and/or pre-roll equipment
- Notify leads about quality, machine-operation, and material challenges
- Perform other duties assigned by management
- Report to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Team Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Work in close proximity to and with cannabis flower and particulates daily
- Controls and instrumentation experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment
- Ability to work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
- Processing quality experience is a plus
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to manage changes in working schedule
- 1–3 years of related experience preferred
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV)
- Successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Ability to lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 50 lbs as specified
- Ability to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
- Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE
- Required visual acuity for reading, computer terminal use, and visual inspection
- Conversational communication proficiency with coworkers and leadership
- Ability to work in a moderate-noise environment
- Availability for 40 hours weekly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
