About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform incoming inspections of flower and pre-roll batches for moisture, texture, overall quality, and size
  • Ensure proper bud size, weigh and package flower and/or pre-rolls
  • Receive raw batch items and ensure appropriate storage
  • Verify the quality and quantity of raw batch items in kits
  • Sort batch items by type and complete verification paperwork
  • Store the same types of batched items together
  • Perform counts and complete required documentation
  • Seal bags, jars, and tubes and inspect seal quality
  • Prepare and apply product labels manually or with applicator equipment
  • Perform cleaning processes, verification paperwork, and PPE procedures according to cGMP and Trulieve standards
  • Clean counters, floors, and work areas
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of items produced and packaged
  • Monitor and fill automated packaging and/or pre-roll equipment
  • Notify leads about quality, machine operation, and material challenges
  • Perform other duties assigned by management
  • Reports to Flower Processing Supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Work in close proximity and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basis
  • Controls and instrumentation experience
  • Ensure timeliness of return from breaks
  • Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
  • Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
  • Processing quality experience a plus
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage changes in working schedule
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time and perform frequent/constant reaching, grasping, turning, picking, and pinching
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer terminal use, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
  • Must be able to speak and communicate at conversational proficiency with co-workers and leadership
  • Must be able to work in an environment with continuous low-level sound (moderate noise)
