About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform incoming inspections of flower and pre-roll batches, including moisture, texture, quality, and size
  • Ensure proper bud size per brand standard; weigh and package flower and/or pre-rolls
  • Receive raw batches and ensure appropriate storage
  • Verify quality and quantity of raw batch items in kits
  • Sort batch items by type and complete verification paperwork
  • Store the same type of batched items together
  • Perform counts and complete required documentation
  • Seal bags, jars, and tubes and inspect seal quality
  • Prepare and apply product labels manually or with applicator equipment
  • Complete cleaning verification paperwork and use PPE according to cGMP and Trulieve standards
  • Clean counters, floors, and work areas to maintain a safe, compliant environment
  • Monitor product quality and quantity during production and packaging
  • Operate and fill automated packaging and pre-roll equipment
  • Notify leads about quality, machine-operation, and material challenges
  • Perform other duties assigned by management
  • Reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Team Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Work in close proximity and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basis
  • Controls and instrumentation experience
  • Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
  • Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
  • Processing quality experience a plus
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage changes in working schedule
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers frequently or constantly
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer terminals, and visual inspection of small parts/details
  • Must be able to speak and communicate at conversational proficiency with co-workers and leadership
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
