About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform incoming inspections of flower and pre-roll material for moisture, texture, quality, size, and other specifications
- Ensure proper bud size per brand standard; weigh and package flower and/or pre-rolls
- Receive raw batches and ensure appropriate storage
- Verify the quality and quantity of raw batch items in kits
- Sort batch items by type and complete verification paperwork
- Store the same types of batched items together
- Perform counts and complete required documentation
- Seal bags, jars, and tubes and inspect seals for compliance with standards
- Prepare and manually or mechanically apply product labels
- Perform cleaning processes, verification paperwork, and PPE procedures per cGMP and Trulieve standards
- Clean counters, floors, and work areas to maintain a safe, compliant environment
- Monitor the quality and quantity of produced and packaged items
- Monitor and fill automated packaging and pre-roll equipment efficiently
- Notify leads of quality, machine-operation, and material challenges
- Perform other duties assigned by management
- Report to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Team Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Work in close proximity and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basis
- Controls and instrumentation experience
- Ensure timeliness of return from breaks
- Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
- Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
- Processing quality experience a plus
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to manage changes in working schedule
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods; maintain equilibrium while climbing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching; and frequently/constantly use hands/fingers to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer terminals, and visual inspection of small parts/details in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate at conversational proficiency with co-workers and leadership
- Must be able to work in moderate noise
