About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate flower packaging and automated label application equipment
  • Inspect incoming cannabis flower and pre-roll materials for moisture, texture, quality, size, and specifications
  • Weigh and package flower and pre-rolls during and after machine operation
  • Set up and perform changeovers on pre-roll, packaging, and labeling equipment
  • Operate and monitor at least three packaging machines, including sealers, label printers, Apollo, Combi lifts, and Paxium
  • Troubleshoot equipment and escalate complex issues to maintenance
  • Conduct and document routine equipment checks and minor operational adjustments
  • Complete paperwork checks and preventive-maintenance documentation
  • Verify sealing machines operate correctly and meet standards
  • Prepare, print, and apply product labels manually or using equipment
  • Ensure equipment cleaning, verification paperwork, and PPE processes meet cGMP and Trulieve standards
  • Train Flower Packaging Technician II employees on packaging, machine filling, labeling, and related duties
  • Maintain detailed task records for documentation and traceability
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Maintenance, leads, and leadership to resolve equipment and documentation issues
  • Monitor equipment performance according to SOPs and report quality, machine, material, and repair issues
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Controls and instrumentation experience
  • 1+ year working with processing quality at Trulieve
  • Minimum 6 months in the Flower Technician II role or 2 years working with equivalent equipment complexity
  • Experience entering data in SAP/Emaint/state-mandated systems (Metrc, Biotrack, MJ Freeway) preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 21 years of age, or minimum 18 years in CT, PA, and WV
  • Must pass state-mandated background screening
  • Able to work in a fast-paced controlled environment
  • Able to work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
  • Able to work under minimum supervision and pressure
  • Able to manage schedule changes
  • Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry it at least 50 feet
  • Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand movements
  • Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE
  • Required visual acuity for reading, computer viewing, and detailed visual inspections
  • Conversational communication proficiency with co-workers and leadership
  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
