About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create labels, calculate cannabinoids, maintain printers and programs
  • Review strain names, types, variables, and overall label quality
  • Maintain daily inventories of labels created, reprinted, used, wasted, and rejected
  • Restock printheads, ink, labels, and other inventory
  • Complete daily print jobs promptly while maintaining label quality
  • Document approved labels and complete daily logs summarizing reworks
  • Operate printer equipment according to instructions and call for repairs
  • Package medical marijuana derivatives accurately and efficiently into appropriate containers
  • Label containers appropriately
  • Package products in totes for stores
  • Inspect products to ensure all labels are present
  • Organize finished-goods racks
  • Pull orders for the Packaging department
  • Move work orders to storage locations
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to work in a production environment and meet production goals
  • Ability to focus, stay on task, and continuously demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing/shipping operations, usually resulting from a minimum of 1–2 years of experience
  • Ability to read and understand procedures and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing-type machinery
  • Ability to work in a team environment and strong communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 21 years of age (or minimum 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Ability to work seated/standing at workstations for extended periods and perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand use
  • Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
  • Visual acuity with or without job aids for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and visual inspection of small parts/details
  • Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with coworkers and vendors
