About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large cannabis cultivation facility
- Report and work directly with the Cultivation Manager
- Provide support for cultivation staff, including policies and procedures, schedules, and trainings
- Count plants within their respective locations
- Ensure tallied amounts are properly reflected in the inventory system
- Move plants and assign them to new rooms
- Utilize spreadsheets and Excel
- Perform inventory in multiple facilities
- Track all plants in warehouses daily to ensure accuracy
- Update changes or new plant statuses in the system
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent attention to detail
- Quick learner and team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Attend inventory system training sessions as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time
- Must be able to maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
- Must be able to use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily
- Must be able to wear PPE as appropriate
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
- Must be able to communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.
