About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee day-to-day inventory operations at a large cannabis cultivation facility
Report and work directly with the Cultivation Manager
Provide support for cultivation staff, including policies and procedures, schedules, and trainings
Count plants within their respective locations
Ensure tallied amounts are accurately reflected in the inventory system
Move plants and assign them to new rooms
Use spreadsheets and Excel
Perform inventory across multiple facilities
Track all plants in warehouses daily to ensure accuracy
Update plant changes or new plant statuses in the system
Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attend inventory system training sessions as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
Ability to count plants within their respective locations
Ability to ensure inventory amounts are accurately reflected in the inventory system
Ability to move plants and assign them to new rooms
Proficiency with spreadsheets and Excel
Ability to perform inventory in multiple facilities
Ability to track plants in warehouses daily
Ability to update plant changes or statuses in the system
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand movements
Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
Must have visual acuity to read, view computer terminals, and inspect small parts/details in day and night/dark conditions
Must be able to communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
