About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Weigh, measure, and fill medical marijuana derivatives into appropriate resale containers
  • Operate Thompson Duke, ETG, Versa, and other filling equipment
  • Ensure fill rates meet quality specifications
  • Perform equipment changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
  • Replace dispensing needles at proper intervals to optimize production and prevent contamination
  • Train Oil Processing Technician I employees
  • Perform and document quality checks of incoming materials, processes, and finished goods
  • Document and escalate equipment issues to maintenance and leadership
  • Label containers with product labels, variable-data labels, state-mandated tags, and tamper tape
  • Package products, document case packs, and maintain accurate counts and tracking documentation
  • Maintain quality control and high packaging quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the packaging area according to cGMP and Trulieve standards
  • Work under the direction of the Oil Production Manager, Oil Production Supervisor, and Team Leads

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic computer skills
  • Exceptionally strong math and counting skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively within a group environment
  • Mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Dependable with reliable transportation
  • Controls and instrumentation experience preferred
  • 6 months in the Oil Processing Technician I role
  • 1+ year working with processing quality at Trulieve
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and pressure
  • Ability to manage changes in working schedule
  • cGMP manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV)
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening
  • Ability to work with chemicals, oils, sharp objects, cannabis flower, particulates, and organic matter
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 50 lbs. as specified
  • Visual acuity for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and inspecting small parts/details
  • Conversational proficiency communicating with co-workers and vendors
  • Availability for 40+ hours weekly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
