About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate medical processing equipment
- Participate in intake, drying, curing, and trimming of cannabis flower
- Maintain compliance using a centralized tracking system
- Approve incoming flower batches through visual, physical, and measurement verification
- Document moisture testing results in reports, logs, and company databases
- Maintain and recalibrate measurement equipment
- Collect third-party testing samples
- “Burp” flower bins during curing
- Account for products according to company policies and procedures
- Receive, inspect, store, sort, count, and record raw batch items
- Participate in packaging and assembling products
- Prepare processed medicine according to standard work instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of processing areas
- Clean counters and floors to ensure a safe working environment
- Load and adjust items on the packaging line
- Label packaged medicine appropriately
- Monitor production quality and quantity
- Work flexibly across production sectors and collaborate with other departments
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Controls and instrumentation experience
- Processing quality experience
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to manage changes in working schedule
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening
- A High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand movements
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions
- Must have visual acuity for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and visual inspection of small parts/details
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
