About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide manual labor supporting Cultivation department operations while following laws, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
Support Harvesting and Drying departments with day-to-day tasks and sanitation responsibilities
Cut down product and separate plants from root balls
Defoliate and trim plants
Prepare product for transportation to dry rooms
Clean and remove plant material after harvest
Weigh and dispose of plant material not sent for drying
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material, leaving grow rooms clean
Clean, sanitize, and store grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment
Perform manual cross-department duties as needed, including support in Dry, Trim, and Cure
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, repetitive movement, and reaching
Must be able to use hands/fingers frequently or constantly to complete tasks
Must be able to work entire shifts standing when required
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer terminals, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
