About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure Trulieve flower products meet or exceed customer specifications
Inspect and test flower products for quality defects during the manufacturing process
Report quality issues and concerns to relevant departments
Ensure equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place and follow safety procedures
Perform continual quality-control checks to verify products meet specifications
Audit flower-product applications for compliance with SOP specifications
Analyze spoilage, record causes, and take corrective actions where applicable
Monitor processes and report problems to supervisors through interaction and required paperwork
Advise management and coach co-workers on quality issues
Follow SOP requirements and challenge appropriate personnel when cultivation defects are present
Notify supervisors of recurring equipment malfunctions, corrective actions, and poor-quality materials or supplies
Collaborate with the Quality Manager/Supervisor to create and revise standard operating procedures
Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized
Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
High school diploma or equivalent
An Associate's Degree or equivalent is a benefit as well as any quality related training or certification
Experience with maintaining accurate records
Experience with accurate measurement capability
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access) and ability to handle multiple programs
Knowledge and work history of focusing on quality and safety in every aspect of the job
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time
Effective and proven written and verbal communication skills in a team environment
Working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred
Ability to work with little to no supervision with strong attention to detail
Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Ability to work seated/standing at workstations for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
Visual acuity, with or without job aids, for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and detailed visual inspections in day and night/dark conditions
Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
