About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of Retail Field Operations Specialists supporting retail operations
- Partner with retail leadership to analyze operational and developmental opportunities and create strategic solutions
- Assist with system and technology development and implementation
- Develop and provide feedback for continuous improvement of retail Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Communicate operating policies and issues at department meetings
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system updates and enhancements
- Oversee training compliance, assignments, management, and records within Trulieve Learning Management Systems
- Provide training and support regarding company and regulatory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Learning & Development on employee training and development
- Partner with Retail, Marketing, and Brand Management teams to maximize sales through in-store displays, brand engagement tools, and point-of-purchase materials
- Support new store openings and prepare stores and teams for grand openings
- Assess sales and business trends to ensure merchandising strategies drive revenue across key categories
- Visit retail establishments to assess compliance with operational procedures and identify optimization opportunities
- Manage state-specific communications updates and task management
- Complete other assigned projects and responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of operations, sales processes, and company policies
- Prior operations management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area
- History of pushing for deadline-driven results and deliverables
- Ability to translate insights and metrics into strategy
- Experience building and managing a high-performing team
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Excellent organization and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team
- Conversational English proficiency
- Ability to operate electronic equipment and telecommunication devices
- SAP and state-required compliance/inventory management system knowledge preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions
- Valid driver's license and successful MVR background check
- Ability to pass Level 1 and Level 2 background checks
- At least 21 years of age
- Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying hostility
- Ability to move throughout facilities, including tight spaces
- Ability to push/pull, lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to ascend/descend stools, ladders, and steps and position self or objects at floor level
- Visual and auditory acuity with or without aids
- Availability to work 45+ hours weekly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel 30%-50% of the work schedule
