About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Retail Field Operations Manager with operational procedures, systems, continued learning, and business processes
  • Assist with managing, facilitating, and increasing communication and efficiency between departments
  • Conduct field support visits to ensure retail standards are maintained
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for supported areas regarding systems and regulations
  • Recommend operational improvements and growth initiatives to the Retail Field Operations Manager
  • Monitor daily productivity and recommend modifications to improve personnel and operational effectiveness
  • Assist with system and technology training and implementation
  • Support development of Standard Operating Procedures to increase efficiency
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing to validate updates and enhancements
  • Determine training needs through operational observation, sales-result analysis, and consultations with General Managers and Area Managers during store visits
  • Conduct on-site training using hands-on and interactive methods
  • Assist with training programs supporting employee career development
  • Develop operational plans for visual merchandising, store aesthetics, customer flow, product organization, and asset protection
  • Execute and maintain Trulieve's National Visual Standards Guide
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Retail on visual directives, branded merchandise, uniforms, and promotional materials
  • Support new store openings and prepare stores and teams for grand openings
  • Complete other assigned projects and responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior operations experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area, is a plus
  • Self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results and deliverables
  • Process improvement and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail, time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Observant, analytical, inquisitive, and attentive
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • SAP and state-required compliance/inventory management system knowledge preferred
  • Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computers and laptops
  • Ability to comprehend safety procedures and utilize telecommunication devices
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR background check
  • Ability to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to function independently, with flexibility and personal integrity
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
  • Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including patrons experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
  • Ability to move throughout facilities, including tight spaces
  • Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights; push, pull, lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps, and position oneself or objects at floor level
  • Visual and auditory acuity, with or without aids
  • Availability to work 45+ hours weekly, occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel 75%-90% of the work schedule
