About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel
- Achieve key performance metrics
- Ensure efficient daily operation of the store
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations
- Assume key-holding supervisor duties related to opening and closing procedures
- Supervise staff and retail processes
- Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
- Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with company SOPs
- Communicate SOP changes to employees
- Provide coaching, training, and development focused on service standards and accountability
- Monitor and maintain store inventory
- Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
- Maintain professional relationships with business partners
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
- Prior cash handling experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff
- Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
- Conversational English proficiency
- Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computers, scanners, printers, and telecommunication devices
- Ability to comprehend safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license and passing an MVR background check (delivery locations only)
- Ability to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to function independently with flexibility and personal integrity
- Ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
- Ability to move throughout the entire facility, including tight spaces
- Ability to communicate and exchange sensitive information accurately
- Ability to observe and inspect details at varying ranges
- Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps
- Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and position self or objects at floor level
- Visual and auditory acuity with or without job aids
