About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel
- Support achievement of key performance metrics and efficient daily store operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional customer experience
- Perform opening and closing procedures as a key-holding supervisor
- Supervise staff and retail processes
- Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
- Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs and communicate changes to employees
- Coach, train, and develop the team on service standards, accountability, and objectives
- Monitor and maintain store inventory
- Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
- Maintain professional relationships with business partners
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
- Prior cash handling experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and discretion
- Conversational English proficiency
- Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computers, scanners, printers, and telecommunication devices
- Ability to comprehend safety procedures
- Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license and passing MVR background check required for delivery locations only
- Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to function independently, work flexible hours, and demonstrate personal integrity
- Ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying hostility
- Ability to move throughout the facility, including tight spaces
- Ability to communicate and exchange sensitive information, observe details, and operate computing devices
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps, and work at floor level
- Visual and auditory acuity with or without job aids
