About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining 100% accuracy of store inventory
  • Oversee preparation and processing of product and patient transfers daily
  • Make recommendations for product overages and shortages
  • Maintain inventory compliance with state regulations
  • Assist with implementing company inventory-control policies and operating procedures
  • Analyze and resolve inventory issues
  • Monitor warehouse transactions, including shipping, receiving, and transfers
  • Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, or monthly as needed
  • Conduct inventory audits with the General Manager
  • Follow written audit programs and physical inventory procedures
  • Log receipts and documentation for accurate inventory accounts
  • Assist in scheduling inventory and compliance personnel
  • Perform system adjustments and participate in root-cause analysis
  • Help determine, initiate, and execute corrective actions
  • Collect, audit, and file paperwork for state compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with regulatory compliance and HIPAA guidelines
  • Work up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism
  • Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Able to understand and follow written/oral instructions
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Proficient with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Well organized with good management and leadership skills
  • Communication, problem-solving, and arithmetic skills
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record
  • Must pass a comprehensive background record check and drug screening
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and meet the stated sensory and functional requirements
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry it at least 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Frequently able to manipulate objects, push/pull and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend stools, ladders, or steps, and position self or objects at floor level
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
