About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Supervisor with assigning drivers and overseeing day-to-day transportation department operations
  • Ensure assigned tasks and responsibilities are completed timely, efficiently, and safely
  • Inspect all vehicles daily and ensure safety equipment is present and functional
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance is completed and properly logged
  • Ensure transportation manifests are generated, carried in appropriate vehicles during active product transport, and documented upon completion
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned after each trip and disinfected when applicable
  • Provide hands-on training for new drivers on safety, professionalism, timeliness, transportation documentation, and communication with dispensary customers
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and DOH regulations
  • Communicate transport status between departments
  • Represent Trulieve professionally and cost-effectively to support profitability and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven working experience in the field relating to transportation and logistics
  • Prior leadership experience with the ability to professionally complete objectives
  • Must have a valid driver’s license along with a good driving record (no violations)
  • CDL license strongly preferred
  • Must have complete open availability, including last-minute shifts with irregular hours
  • Prior experience operating commercial box trucks and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Ability to professionally and respectfully engage with personnel, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain one
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must remain compliant with legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 50 lbs. as specified
  • Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods and perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand movements
  • Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions
  • Required visual acuity for reading, computer work, and inspections in day and night conditions
  • Ability to communicate verbally at conversation levels in moderate noise
