About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, organize and implement administrative activities for multiple assigned senior management members
- Handle confidential employee relations, labor relations, compensation, staffing and corporate activity information
- Manage senior management calendars and activities
- Assist with agendas, presentation materials, meeting deliverables and follow-up items
- Respond to internal and external inquiries under senior management direction
- Participate in internal and external activities to complete assigned projects
- Streamline and improve administrative workflow processes
- Support migration to new technologies and process improvements
- Compose routine correspondence and correct grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Maintain and update office supplies
- Compile data for routine reports
- Answer telephone calls
- Coordinate travel arrangements as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of administrative work experience
- Ability to plan, organize and assist in multiple projects/assignments
- Word processing, spreadsheet, graphic software and Internet/Intranet applications
- Internal/external customer service skills
- Ability to identify and create solutions for electronic and hardcopy organizational systems, including electronic databases and tracking systems
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills on own initiative
- Keyboarding skills of 50 WPM
- Bilingual English/French
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Must reside in the province of Ontario, Canada
