About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, organize and implement administrative activities for multiple assigned senior management members
  • Act in a confidential capacity regarding employee relations, labor relations, compensation, staffing and other corporate activities
  • Manage senior management calendars and activities
  • Assist with agendas, presentation materials, meeting deliverables and follow-up items
  • Assist with internal and external inquiries under senior management direction
  • Participate in internal and external activities to complete assigned projects
  • Streamline and improve administrative workflow processes
  • Support migration to new technologies for process improvements and efficiencies
  • Compose routine correspondence and correct grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Maintain and update office supplies
  • Compile data for routine reports
  • Answer telephone calls
  • Coordinate travel arrangements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years administrative work experience
  • Ability to plan, organize and assist in multiple projects/assignments
  • Word processing, spreadsheet, graphic software and Internet/Intranet applications
  • Ability to provide internal/external customer services
  • Ability to identify and create solutions for electronic and hardcopy organizational systems, including electronic databases and tracking systems
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills on own initiative
  • Keyboarding skills of 50 WPM
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Bilingual in English/French preferred
