About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, evaluate, and document emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Assist in developing, testing, and implementing AI-powered solutions, automations, and business process improvements
- Support Generative AI initiatives through prompt development, experimentation, testing, and optimization
- Assist with data collection, preparation, validation, and analysis for AI and analytics projects
- Create and maintain documentation, user guides, knowledge articles, and project materials
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify AI adoption opportunities
- Support proof-of-concept projects involving AI, machine learning, automation, or intelligent assistants
- Evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, usability, and business value
- Participate in project meetings, brainstorming sessions, and innovation workshops
- Communicate project updates, findings, recommendations, and technical concepts to team members and stakeholders
- Follow IT, cybersecurity, data privacy, and responsible AI practices and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing an associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Must not now or in the future require company sponsorship for an immigration-related employment benefit
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and business needs
- Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to explore emerging technologies and innovation
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, machine learning, automation, and digital transformation
- Experience through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, research, or internships in Generative AI, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, machine learning, data analytics and visualization, or software development
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, JavaScript, or other programming languages
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI Service, Power Platform, or Power Automate
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, APIs, cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and modern development practices
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible AI concepts
