About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure client-facing software solutions capture data and produce documentation compliant with federal laws, regulations, governing authority requirements, and industry best practices
  • Own and improve user interfaces for client-facing products
  • Conduct market research, onsite visits, conference participation, and competitor product reviews
  • Analyze product information, client and partner needs, competitive offerings, and industry trends
  • Prioritize and communicate proposed product changes
  • Identify, analyze, and help implement product changes and new products
  • Review logged issues and change requests
  • Evaluate feasibility and develop business cases for major functionality and sub-products
  • Define product requirements, scope changes, impacted components, transaction scenarios, and data requirements
  • Maintain the skeletal Data Schema and validate data and metadata
  • Identify and resolve data conflicts across product libraries
  • Lead UI/UX design activities, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and design patterns
  • Assist with usability testing and user interviews
  • Conduct product testing, transaction testing, and validation of implementations against requirements
  • Collaborate with Quality Control on test cases and certification use cases
  • Troubleshoot client and functional-group issues and assess risk exposure
  • Provide internal and external product support and communicate issue status
  • Create product change documentation, release notes, and user communications
  • Educate staff, partners, and clients on product design, changes, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with SAT and Communications/Marketing on product documentation and training
  • Lead product initiatives and special projects and execute project plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Generally, ten or more years of experience at a financial institution, Loan Origination System, or Deposit Platform System
  • Knowledge of business principles, banking, technology, data processing methods and procedures, and computer software systems
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of integrated teams in a fluid environment
  • Demonstrated visual design sensibilities applied to user experiences
  • Understanding of company software and the financial services industry
  • Ability to manage details and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking, interpretation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in the FinTech industry
  • Core Banking vendor technology experience
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft programs, including Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to develop long-term working relationships based on trust and respect
