About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and ensure wastewater and waste disposal operations, functions and compliance
  • Manage wastewater reporting requirements and obtain regulatory approvals
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to meet regulatory requirements
  • Oversee functional departments related to wastewater treatment
  • Develop procedures to maintain, improve and perpetuate wastewater treatment functions
  • Develop, install and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and pollution prevention programs
  • Keep senior management informed of wastewater treatment functions, procedures, issues and regulatory changes
  • Direct employees in wastewater treatment and waste disposal operations
  • Supervise department employee performance, behavior, attendance, discipline, training, coaching and mentoring
  • Coordinate waste stream classification, waste handling, disposal, documentation and recordkeeping
  • Perform inspections, maintain inspection records and generate reports for wastewater, pollution control equipment and hazardous waste
  • Ensure proper operation of plant water treatment equipment
  • Participate on the Environmental Management Team and support ISO 14001 compliance
  • Complete monthly SPCC inspections and participate in SPCC program reviews and revisions
  • Perform other duties as directed by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment processes, procedures and functions, or a related industry, or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the printed circuit board industry or chemical industry preferred
  • Primarily 1st shift availability; weekend and off-shift work may be required
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and applicable ITAR, EAR and OFAC laws
  • Must be able to identify ITAR products and understand access restrictions to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
  • Must recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
  • Must understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities
  • Must understand export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
  • Must manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
