About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute the enterprise server patching program using NinjaOne RMM
  • Define patch schedules, approval workflows, and maintenance windows across production, staging, and development environments
  • Track patch compliance, generate status reports, and escalate exceptions
  • Administer NinjaOne RMM monitoring policies, alerts, remote access workflows, dashboards, and automation scripts
  • Administer Windows Server environments across versions 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, print services, server roles, and configurations
  • Build, configure, manage, and maintain VMware vSphere virtual machines, templates, snapshots, and resource allocations
  • Perform P2V and V2V migrations and right-size virtual machines
  • Plan and execute server OS upgrades, refresh cycles, workload migrations, and full server lifecycle activities
  • Maintain CMDB and asset records for servers and virtual machines
  • Monitor server health, performance, capacity, and availability
  • Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks, storage risks, and infrastructure anomalies
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for patching, health checks, provisioning, compliance reporting, and alerting
  • Apply DevOps practices including version-controlled repositories, automated testing, and repeatable deployment procedures
  • Ensure server enrollment and compliance with SentinelOne EDR and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Respond to endpoint alerts and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Resolve server incidents, including P1/P2 production outages, and lead root cause analyses and post-incident reviews
  • Create and maintain server documentation, runbooks, SOPs, patch baselines, VM inventories, and change records

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of hands-on experience and technical certifications
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in server administration or IT infrastructure operations
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with NinjaOne RMM, including patch deployment, monitoring policy configuration, alert management, remote access, and automation scripting
  • Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, and server role management
  • Hands-on VMware vSphere experience, including VM templates, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation
  • Experience planning and executing server OS upgrades and hardware refresh cycles
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills for patching, reporting, provisioning, health checks, and task automation
  • Working knowledge of enterprise backup platforms and restore validation procedures
  • Experience with server-level endpoint protection platforms such as SentinelOne or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including enrollment, compliance monitoring, and alert response
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization issues
  • Strong documentation discipline
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements
  • Access to ITAR products and related technical data restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
  • Preferred experience with Git, configuration management, CI/CD, colocation/data center environments, hybrid identity, ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms, and manufacturing or global enterprise IT environments
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, VMware VCP-DCV, CompTIA Server+, NinjaOne Certified Administrator, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Network+
