About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interpret and apply Tubi’s advertising content policies to platform advertisements
- Interpret and apply Tubi’s content standards policies for sexual, violent, and controversial content
- Review and recommend content for further evaluation or removal
- Evaluate and substantiate marketing, scientific, and other data submitted by advertisers
- Coordinate with Sales, Ad Operations, Content, and Content Operations on ad restrictions and relevant information
- Document and socialize findings using internal tools
- Review original and acquired scripted and unscripted content at various production stages
- Collaborate with Legal and Content Operations to ensure content aligns with Tubi standards, industry guidelines, and ratings frameworks including TV Parental Guidelines
- Provide notes and recommendations
- Highlight policy issues requiring analysis or escalation
- Improve operational workstreams, guidelines, and processes
- Analyze competing streamers’ advertising and content Standards and Practices policies and monitor streaming industry trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 2+ years of professional experience in advertising compliance, advertising policy, trust & safety, content moderation, standards & practices, or a related policy enforcement role
- Ability to interpret and apply written policies consistently while exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Ability and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year
- Willingness to review all types of content and apply Tubi and legal standards without regard to personal beliefs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, colleagues, managers, producers, and advertisers
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Sound judgment and ability to recognize when matters should be escalated
- Practical familiarity with AI tools
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and make consistent decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, databases, and web-based tools
- Experience in streaming, digital media, broadcast television, or online platform operations is a plus
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
