About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own endpoint fleet security across macOS, Windows, and Linux, including hardening, EDR, patching, and MDM-based device compliance
Design and operate identity and access architecture, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and least-privilege access
Drive the zero-trust strategy for corporate access
Secure the SaaS estate through configuration hardening, monitoring, and automated detection of risky changes and access
Build scalable automation and tooling for provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and self-service guardrails
Partner with IT and Detection & Response to instrument corporate telemetry and develop detections for phishing, account compromise, and device threats
Lead corporate security response to phishing, account takeover, and endpoint incidents, and build prevention systems
Set standards and mentor engineers across IT and security
Set corporate security strategy, identify high-leverage workforce risks, elevate engineers, and harden the internal attack surface

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience, typically 8+ years, in security engineering with depth in corporate/enterprise security
Hands-on endpoint security and management experience across macOS and Windows
Expertise in identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, SAML/OIDC, and modern identity providers such as Okta, Entra ID, and Google Workspace
Experience securing SaaS environments and driving zero-trust access
Strong software and scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar
Ability to balance strong security with employee experience and lead cross-team initiatives
Nice to have: detection engineering for corporate telemetry
Nice to have: device management tooling and osquery-style fleet visibility
Nice to have: responding to phishing and account compromise at scale
Nice to have: securing a fast-growing, remote-friendly workforce
