About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced administrative support to operations, administration, and management for commercial real estate projects
- Maintain direct accountability for project delivery
- Prepare documentation, issue items for commitment, and produce reports
- Manage smaller projects with oversight from an expert Project Manager or leader
- Assist the Pre-Construction Manager with pre-construction activities, project administration, vendor management, and coordination
- Track and report progress; receive and log deliverables; identify and escalate readiness issues and variances
- Facilitate vendor and project team communication
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and meetings
- Prepare and initiate client funding requests and vendor proposals with Project Manager support
- Prepare and submit Scoping ARs
- Prepare and enter initial project schedules
- Receive AOR proposals and issue initial purchase orders
- Coordinate and follow up with project teams
- Track and confirm agreements, legal requests, and related key dates
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience
- PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
- Working understanding of MS Project helpful
- Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred
