About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide advanced administrative support to operations, administration, and management for commercial real estate projects
  • Maintain direct accountability for project delivery
  • Prepare documentation, issue commitments, and provide reporting
  • Manage smaller projects with oversight from an expert Project Manager or leader
  • Assist the Pre-Construction Manager with pre-construction activities
  • Support project administration, vendor management, and coordination
  • Track and report progress; log deliverables and identify or escalate readiness variances
  • Facilitate vendor and project team communication
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and meetings
  • Prepare and process client funding requests and vendor proposals with Project Manager support
  • Prepare and submit Scoping ARs
  • Prepare and enter initial project schedules
  • Receive AOR proposals and issue initial purchase orders
  • Coordinate and follow up with project teams
  • Track and confirm agreements, legal requests, and key dates as the real estate point of contact
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from a college or university and/or equivalent related experience
  • PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
  • Working understanding of MS Project helpful
  • Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred
  • Ability to perform each duty satisfactorily
