About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the expanding New Energy & Natural Resources segment
  • Work on iconic commissions for key clients
  • Take ownership of performance and quality while delivering reliable, client-focused outputs
  • Plan and execute work effectively, identifying opportunities to add value and escalating when appropriate
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients and contractor teams
  • Administer and manage contracts
  • Monitor costs, forecast, report, manage change, and control variances and cashflow
  • Deliver KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering
  • Provide commercial advice and improve forecast accuracy
  • Ensure timely agreement of final accounts
  • Capture lessons learned and support knowledge management
  • Recommend improvements to internal systems and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience
  • Cost / commercial management experience on Energy projects (nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, low carbon) or Infrastructure projects (water / utilities / rail / roads / aviation)
  • Experience working on major programmes or project portfolios
  • Professional Chartership preferable
  • Ability to administer and manage contracts
  • Experience with cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, variance and cashflow control
  • Experience with KPI delivery, programme performance, cost control and value engineering
  • Commercial leadership and final account agreement experience
