About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects
- Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips
- Verify effective project governance, processes, and systems
- Apply best practices across projects
- Produce formal project status reports and other required reports
- Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure approved design standards are correctly applied
- Manage supplier interfaces through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
- Manage project information flow through regular meetings and written communications
- Forecast and update key project milestones and budgets
- Manage and monitor local design teams according to commission criteria
- Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders
- Respond rapidly to field RFIs
- Provide expertise in cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance
- Independently review status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs
- Assist with client management and develop relationships to maximize new opportunities
- Advise project teams on approaches to achieve client and business objectives
- Capture key project information and learnings
- Identify improvements to internal systems and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a construction-related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
- Effective presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
- Strong communication skills
- Healthcare construction preferred
- Ability to adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable
- Ability to meet on-site presence requirements as client needs change
