About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage projects from initiation through completion
- Manage planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout for real estate projects
- Work with clients to prepare scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, milestones, quality controls, and risk identification
- Define project delivery resources and conduct requests for proposals and bid evaluations
- Recommend project resources to clients
- Implement project documentation governance
- Ensure project data integrity and accurate, timely documentation
- Direct project delivery teams and provide guidance
- Create action plans to meet objectives, budgets, and schedules
- Track project progress and report status and variances
- Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans
- Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
- Apply standard principles and techniques to complex assignments and develop innovative solutions
- Coach others and share job-discipline knowledge
- Lead by example consistent with CBRE RISE values
- Build consensus and convince others to reach agreement
- Impact customer, operational, project, and service activities across related teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
- LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designations preferred
- Ground-up construction and MEP infrastructure experience strongly desired
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Kahua or similar project management software
- Experience with D365 or another ERP platform
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality
- Sophisticated math skills
- Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations
- May require up to 50% regional travel, predominantly in the Eastern Time Zone
