Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and coach a team of engineers, providing feedback and career development discussions
Structure and sequence work and communicate status and quality metrics for deliverables
Partner with Product to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and engineering plans
Build and sustain a high-performing, inclusive team culture
Contribute to the design and implementation of production systems
Own architectural decisions involving API design, integrations, and infrastructure
Lead operational readiness, including observability, AI-system evaluation, and testing
Keep AI applications efficient and cost-effective while scaling
Shape how AI is used across the company in collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of production experience in Python
2+ years of managing a team
Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks
Demonstrated experience shipping a complex system with significant customer impact
Ability to work effectively across functions and levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be based in the United States
Current authorization to work in the United States
