Key responsibilities & impact

Lead client-facing IT projects from kickoff through successful delivery, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guide stakeholders through key decisions
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones
Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor partners to drive execution
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes
Facilitate project governance through status reporting, issue resolution, and change management
Oversee client onboarding and transition completed projects into managed services support
Ensure deliverables meet contractual commitments, quality standards, and client expectations
Maintain project data for forecasting, resource planning, utilization, and portfolio reporting
Contribute to project management best practices, tools, delivery methodologies, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
4+ years of experience managing client-facing IT projects within an MSP, consulting, or professional services environment
Demonstrated success owning projects end-to-end with direct accountability for delivery outcomes and client satisfaction
Experience supporting mid-market and enterprise clients preferred
Background working for an IT solution provider, Managed Service Provider (MSP), VAR, or similar technology organization strongly preferred
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
Familiarity with cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed services solutions
Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools, particularly Smartsheet
Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience facilitating meetings, providing status updates, delivering executive-level communications, mentoring team members, and working with cross-functional teams and vendor partners
