About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide virtual-only ELA and Math tutoring to 1st-5th grade students across the United States
- Provide small group instruction virtually to students in grades 3-5
- Support school partners through engagement opportunities including summer academies and remediation support
- Deliver tutoring sessions during weekday mornings, generally 8-10am EST
- Prepare lightly, log in early, and complete session notes
- Express interest in and accept available tutoring engagements after admission to the TbT Teacher Community
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a US teacher
- Experience teaching Math and/or ELA in the classroom
- Availability from 8-10am ET
- Experience teaching in an online environment
- Working knowledge of Teams or Zoom
- Experience with remediation, intervention, or small group instruction (bonus)
- Experience with secondary math (bonus)
- SPED or ELL teaching experience (bonus)
- Bi-Lingual (bonus)
- AP course experience (bonus)
- Active teaching credential (bonus)
