About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define target architectures and prepare Technical Architecture Documents (TADs)
- Design routing topologies for site openings and site mergers
- Lead advanced operations for Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, and Dell environments
- Manage the SDN layer with VMware NSX, including micro-segmentation and T0/T1 gateways
- Provide L2/L3 support in compliance with SLAs
- Monitor the infrastructure and manage MPLS, SD-WAN, and Internet telecom providers
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Collaborate with Systems and Security teams
- Industrialize processes through scripting
- Provide technical leadership during mergers and acquisitions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (or engineering degree) specializing in Networks and Telecommunications
- At least 5 years of experience managing a complex, distributed LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Expertise in dynamic routing and perimeter security
- Strong proficiency in VMware NSX; experience with the AWS networking ecosystem is considered a major advantage
- Fortinet (NSE 4/7), Cisco (CCNP), or VMware (VCP-NV) certifications are highly desirable
- Fluency in English is essential
- Strong methodological rigor, particularly with ITIL practices
- Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions during critical incidents
