About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of Salesforce CRM
  • Govern user access, permissions, security settings, configuration, architecture, documentation, and change management
  • Design, build, test, and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, flows, automations, validation rules, integrations, and configurations
  • Translate business and programmatic requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Support Salesforce adoption through training, guidance, and user documentation
  • Lead technical development of Salesforce reports, dashboards, Tableau solutions, and other data visualizations
  • Support Salesforce CRM–Marketing Cloud integration, including data architecture, synchronization, troubleshooting, and CRM enhancements
  • Help shape the Foundation’s broader technology ecosystem and scalable infrastructure
  • Maintain and prioritize a roadmap of Salesforce enhancements and strategic technology projects
  • Coordinate external consultants and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommended decisions
  • Support organizational technology, AI, IT, cybersecurity, access management, vendor management, and technology governance needs
  • Monitor emerging technology needs and recommend improvements
  • Develop technical documentation covering architecture, configurations, data definitions, integrations, procedures, and end-user guidance
  • Help establish data-governance standards, data-quality practices, ownership expectations, retention considerations, and access controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Foundation’s mission and operational needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four or more years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, and improving Salesforce environments
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-department Salesforce environments is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, automation, permissions and security, data architecture, reporting, integrations, and platform governance
  • Experience with sandbox environments, deployment or release processes, and change-management practices is preferred
  • Experience with Tableau or comparable data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to translate reporting requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with marketing technology; familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, formerly Pardot, or comparable marketing-automation platforms may also be considered
  • Ability to translate business and programmatic needs into scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Strong project-management, prioritization, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a mission-driven, collaborative environment
  • Curiosity about emerging technology, including AI, and ability to evaluate practical applications with security and governance considerations
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required
