About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect for and map expansion opportunities across K–12 and higher education institutions
- Support institutional outreach to potential partners by preparing information, agendas, and briefing materials for the Executive Directorate’s engagements
- Structure and monitor the new business opportunity pipeline
- Analyze the strategic alignment of opportunities with UBEC’s institutional priorities
- Conduct preliminary qualification, including initial feasibility and economic and financial analyses
- Prepare and consolidate opportunity dossiers containing strategic, academic, regulatory, economic and financial, and market information
- Provide technical support to the Working Group responsible for expansion opportunities
- Monitor trends, opportunities, and consolidation activity in the education sector
- Prepare executive reports on the new business pipeline for the Executive Directorate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Law, or a related field
- Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Strategy, or Business Development preferred
- Advanced computer skills, including programming, document preparation, and spreadsheets with macros and indexing functions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of business development and origination
- Knowledge of market mapping
- Knowledge of opportunity qualification
- Knowledge of the education market, including K–12 and higher education
- Knowledge of the sector’s regulatory framework
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of business opportunity and investment analysis
- Proven experience in business development, prospecting, institutional relations, market intelligence, or related areas, preferably in the education sector
