About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and address supply chain opportunities and challenges within the CPG domain
Utilize advanced reporting and modeling tools to evaluate and optimize transportation and distribution network strategies
Conduct lane benchmarking using Uber Freight market intelligence, internal data, procurement insights, and external data sources
Partner directly with internal client teams while drawing on internal Uber Freight engineering and data analyst resources
Build, maintain, and deliver ad-hoc and recurring reports via Tableau, TMS, and internal client systems
Directly support a key enterprise client
Administratively report to Uber Freight leadership while managing daily workload and deliverables alongside the client’s Customer Supply Chain team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of analyst or engineering experience
Proven experience in data analytics supporting a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company, via a 3PL or directly with a shipper
Hands-on proficiency with Tableau and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Experience with enterprise reporting systems and supply chain data modeling
Basic knowledge of optimization software and SQL
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, transportation strategies, and network design
Ability to model real-world distribution networks and translate complex datasets into actionable insights
