About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write clean, well-documented, well-tested code as part of a delivery team working on an active client engagement
  • Gain practical experience with modern development stacks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps tools
  • Participate in code reviews and pair with Consultants, applying feedback to sharpen engineering skills
  • Help debug, refactor, and document existing systems
  • Contribute to data models and integrations where the project calls for it
  • Research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the project
  • Apply academic knowledge in a professional setting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • Foundational programming knowledge in an object-oriented or modern language: Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Working understanding of data structures, algorithms, and version control (Git)
  • Exposure to relational databases and SQL, REST APIs, or cloud services is a plus
  • Passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 8-week summer program (6/7-7/30)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model based out of Nashville or Richmond
