About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in external audits and assurance engagements from initial planning and fieldwork through final completion
- Gather and review financial data
- Analyze prior-year files and identify key client operations and risk areas
- Collaborate with senior auditors and cross-functional teams to collect, evaluate, and document financial evidence
- Communicate directly with clients to clarify accounting processes and gather information
- Ensure working papers are accurate, compliant with professional standards, and aligned with ethical principles
- Contribute ideas to improve audit methodologies, identify client-side risks, and propose practical recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Business, or a related field
- Prior internship or professional experience in auditing or accounting is a plus, not a requirement
- Familiarity with Greek GAAP and/or IFRS
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Fluent Greek and English, written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional approach to confidentiality and sensitive information
